Boeing delivered hardware and completed software tests for the next-generation GPS constellation, the company announced Oct. 12.

The company delivered the first gyroscope package, which helps stabilize on-orbit spacecraft, for the first GPS Block 2F satellite. The first navigation data unit has completed final acceptance testing, while the associated software has completed final qualification testing. Boeing also conducted tests of new ground system software.
