Bednarek Named CEO For SES New Skies

Robert Bednarek is replacing Dan Goldberg as president and CEO of SES New Skies, the company announced Oct. 9.

Bednarek joined SES Global in January 2002, initially serving as executive vice president of corporate development and as a member of the executive committee. Prior to that, Bednarek had been with Panamsat.

Goldberg announced in September he was leaving SES New Skies to become CEO of Canadian satellite operator Telesat.
