Decarta, a supplier of software platforms and services for the location-based services industry, and Globexplorer, a provider of a commercial library of aerial photos, satellite imagery and geographic maps, have formed a partnership to offer services to a range of markets, including real estate, travel, Internet, government and business intelligence, the companies announced Oct. 4.

The partnership will allow customers to create hybrid maps that combine high-resolution imagery from Globexplorer with spatial and customer-generated data from Decarta.
