Spacenet Inc. received a contract to provide enterprise-grade, network management services to Texas-based H-E-B retail stores, Spacenet announced Sept. 28.

Spacenet has provided network services to H-E-B since 1988, and under the latest five-year contract, the retailer’s new VSAT network will use Spacenet’s Connexstar SE enterprise partition service.

The upgraded satellite network supports point-of-sale polling, back-office applications, multicasting and pharmacy fulfillment. Spacenet also provides managed network services, including advanced network monitoring, management and performance measurement services.
