General Dynamics Gains $48 Million MDA Contract

      The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) gave General Dynamics Corp. [GD] a $48 million information technology contract, the company announced.

      General Dynamics Information Technology will provide comprehensive professional information technology (IT) services, resource and information management support, program and project management support.

      Also included are information assurance (IA) engineering and accreditation support capabilities including system security documentation, systems test and evaluation support, as well as Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance reporting and Department of Defense IA certification training.

      General Dynamics will continue to provide subject matter expert case management, systems documentation, test and evaluation, and IA professional development for comprehensive IA program support to the MDA.

      The contract was awarded in the name of Anteon, which was acquired by General Dynamics in June.
