Orbimage Holdings Inc., which does business under the name Geoeye, announced Sept. 14 that Nasdaq approved its application to list its securities on the market.

Geoeye has begun trading its common stock under the symbol GEOY. In the first hour of trading Sept. 15, the stock was listed at $15.33.

The company’s stock previously was traded as ORBM on the National Quotation Service Bureau, known as the over-the-counter Pink Sheets, since January 2004.
