ViaSat Inc. has been awarded an additional order for multifunctional information distribution system terminals from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in San Diego, the company reported Sept. 14.

The order for ground-based, low-volume terminals and spares and airborne terminals is valued at about $8.7 million and augments a $39.5 million delivery order announced in July.
