The U.S. Air Force has modified Integral Systems Inc.’s Command and Control System-Consolidated (CCS-C) contract to support the first Wideband Gapfiller Satellite launch, the company announced Sept. 14.
The two modifications, valued at $7.8 million, provide for full development for all on-orbit satellite command procedures to support the first launch, which is scheduled for fiscal year 2007.
The CCS-C program provides an upgraded capability to command and control the Air Force’s communication satellites, including the Defense Satellite Communication System, Milstar, Advanced EHF and Wideband Gapfiller.
