Telenor Satellite Services will provide maritime broadband communications aboard more than 20 vessels operated by DOF ASA of Storebo, Norway, Telenor announced Sept. 12.

The three-year agreement calls for the installation of Telenor’s Sealink maritime VSAT systems aboard the company’s fleet to provide voice and high-speed data services via satellite. DOF ASA is a group of companies that owns and operates offshore service vessels operating in waters throughout the North Sea, Barents Sea and the Middle East.

Financial details of the deal were not released.
