Advantech AMT, a Montreal-based manufacturer of satellite and terrestrial wireless communication equipment, has announced itself as a technology partner to Scopus Video Networks Ltd., a provider of digital video networking products, providing them with next generation DVB-S2 technology for its integrated receiver decoders.

Advantech AMT also announced a deal with Services Sound and Vision Corporation (SSVC) to deliver entertainment services to United Kingdom troops on land and sea around the world using a DVB-S2 satellite network.

Either project’s equipment can be seen at the IBC Exhibition between Sept. 8 and 12 in Amsterdam.
