Intelsat secured rights through the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency to offer communications services throughout Brazil, Intelsat announced Aug. 31.

Intelsat will offer its Globalconnex Managed Solutions, including Voice over IP, broadband and cellular backhaul services via satellite. Intelsat will work with corporate service providers in Brazil to target businesses and government agencies, including multinational corporations, retailers with multiple stores, agribusiness companies, financial services firms, offshore communications providers and manufacturing companies.
