KVH Industries launched a new Tracvision A7 mobile satellite TV system that will allow passengers across the continental United States to gain in-motion reception of up to 185 channels of DirecTV service plus such broadcast networks as ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and PBS via local TV affiliates.

The 5-inch high Tracvision A7 will offer delivery of DirecTV’s all-digital programming service, stereo sound and a variety of live content directly to in-car video screens.

In compliance with broadcast regulations, if an equipped vehicle travels outside its owner’s home designed market area, the Tracvision A7’s integrated GPS and 12-volt receiver will automatically turn off local channels while leaving DirecTV’s other channels available.
