UDcast, a provider of solutions enabling full IP over broadcast and satellite media, announced Aug. 21 it would supply 1,500 gateway appliances to Algérie Télécom.

Algérie Télécom Satellite, a subsidiary of Algérie Télécom, will install the satellite broadband hardware sites throughout Algeria. The service will be available to the branches of Algeria’s six state banks to provide reliable and secure interbank clearing operations.
