Digitalglobe announced Aug. 16 two additions to its senior management team.

Marc Tremblay has been appointed general manager of Digitalglobe’s commercial business unit, where he will be responsible for the management of global commercial sales via direct, channel and web distribution. Tremblay most recently worked as vice president of business development and product management for Z Corp. Prior to this, Tremblay was president and CEO of Syncline Inc. and vice president of engineering and operations at Virtual Technologies.

Steve Larned has been appointed chief marketing officer and will oversee worldwide marketing, product management, and strategy development and execution. Larned comes to Digitalglobe with more than 20 years of experience, including eight years with Dell. Prior to joining Dell, Larned spent more than ten years at Bain & Company.
