JSAT Corp.’s JCSAT-10 spacecraft arrived at Kourou Space Center in French Guiana in preparation for an Aug. 11 launch aboard an Ariane 5 rocket, Arianespace announced. The spacecraft will be placed into orbit along with the French Syracuse 3B military satellite.

JCSAT-10, built by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems, carries 30 Ku-band and 12 C-band transponders and will provide Fixed Satellite Services for Japan from its orbital slot at 128 degrees East.
