Saft Awarded Dollar Contract For Lithium-Ion Batteries

Boeing awarded Saft a contract to provide lithium-ion batteries for a pair of spacecraft being built for Mobile Satellite Ventures. The rechargeable batteries will provide up to 18 years of battery life, Saft said. Terms of the contract were not released.
