Echostar Communications Corp. extended its deal to broadcast the NFL Network and moved the channel to a less expensive package, Echostar announced June 26. Beginning July 13, NFL Network will be available as part of the America’s Top 60 package ($29.99 per month). The channel has been carried by Echostar since September as part of the Top 120 package ($39.99 per month). The deal also includes the addition of the network’s high-definition feed.

Separately, Echostar announced it would install a transaction processing platform provided by Getconnected Inc. to its reseller portal that will allow Dish Network retailers and channel partners to cross-sell digital subscriber line (DSL) broadband services as Dish Network services are sold, Echostar announced June 26.
