A Boeing Delta 2 launch vehicle carried a pair of experimental payload into orbit June 21 for the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), U.S. Air Force and U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, Boeing announced. The Micro-Satellite Technology Experiment satellites are designed to test small satellite technologies.
The Naval Research Laboratory also provided an experimental upper stage used for the mission.
