Telenor Satellite Services will add a new Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) satellite terminal to its portfolio, Telenor announced June 20.

The Wideye Sabre 1, developed by Addvalue Communications Pte Ltd., is smaller than a laptop computer and can provide simultaneous telephony and Internet Protocol data services.

Telenor and Addvalue agreed in February to develop joint sales, marketing and engineering efforts for Addvalue’s BGAN-related offerings.
