Delta Wave Communications Inc. introduced June 17 a GPS-based asset tracking system. Rigtrac is installed onboard a truck and uses GPS coordinates to monitor the movement of the vehicle, sending hourly progress reports as well as alerting the company automatically if the rig strays from its designated route or destination.
