Google Earth has been updated and released in beta form, Google announced June 14. The Internet-based satellite mapping service has added an interface to allow users to better control the layers of data on the screen, and navigation panel tools and controllers have been relocated. Another update is the inclusion of textured buildings, which makes objects look as they really would. The update also is available in French, German, Italian and Spanish.
