Aeroflex Inc. announced June 9 its Motion Control Division would provide components for NASA‘s Mars Science Laboratory. Under a $10 million contract from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Aeroflex will provide high torque actuators for the mission as well as a series of gearheads for low and medium torque actuators. Deliveries are expected to be completed by March 2008.
