The National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC) is sponsoring a program in conjunction with Wildblue to provide training, sales and marketing experience as well as a paid internship to college students in rural America.

Dubbed Wildblue U, the program will place interns at 28 electric and telecommunications utilities throughout 17 states. NRTC will offer interns sales commissions, contests and monthly milestone awards. At the end of the summer, the intern with the most successful sales will earn a scholarship award of no less than $10,000 from NRTC, and each participating NRTC member will offer an additional scholarship in the amount of $500.
