Space Shuttle Atlantis Set For Aug. 28 Launch

Space Shuttle Atlantis is set for a launch from Kennedy Space Center, Fla., on Aug. 28.

The shuttle is to be rolled out of a hangar to the vehicle assembly building on July 25.

It is possible that the launch of Atlantis could be accelerated by perhaps 10 days if the Space Shuttle Discovery were to have a problem during its flight. Discovery is set for launch July 1.
