Mobile Satellite Ventures LP (MSV) received two more patents from the U.S. Patent Office, the company announced May 31. The patents are part of an extensive ancillary terrestrial component patent portfolio held by MSV, which includes nine previously awarded patents.

The two new patents relate to detecting and mitigating possible interference between the ground-based ATC communications network and satellite-based network.

MSV has roughly 90 other patents pending in the United States. The company also filed patent applications in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Australia and in other countries around the globe.
