Sweden’s Saab Ericsson Space will provide modular payload adapters for Land Launch vehicles, Saab announced.

Land Launch, a collaboration of Sea Launch and Space International Services, will use a Zenit-3SLB version of the Sea Launch Zenit-3SL rocket. The missions will take place from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

Saab Ericsson Space will provide two complete payload adapter systems for the separation mechanism for the Panamsat-11 and Horizon-2 mission, both scheduled to take place in 2007. The contract also includes fit-check and assistance at launch site.
