Telenor Satellite Services, a subsidiary of Telenor of Norway, has appointed Robert Baker president of Telenor Satellite Services’ operations and holdings companies in the United States, the company announced May 16. Baker has more than 18 years of financial and business development experience in the satellite communications industry. Since 2002, Baker has served as vice president of finance and administration for Telenor Satellite Services and previously held positions as vice president of finance for Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunications and Comsat Mobile Communications.
