Spacenet Inc. has unveiled its Connexstar SE On-Demand, a new service designed to provide satellite-based mission critical backup and business continuity solutions. The service, based on the Gilat Skyedge VSAT platform, provides wireless last-mile solution that provides a physically diverse network path from terrestrial alternatives and customers pay on a usage basis for the bandwidth.
