Saab Ericsson Space signed a contract for production of guidance computers and telemetry antennas for the Ariane 5 launch vehicle, the company announced May 11. The order, valued at 10 million euros ($12.6 million), covers 25 Ariane 5 rockets.

The Swedish firm has provided the guidance computers for every Ariane 5, which carries a pair of redundant units. Most of the launches use a pair of antennas to transmit telemetry data, though some missions require four, Saab said.
