Middle East satellite pay-TV operator Showtime has appointed Rob Ovens senior vice president of finance. Ovens previously was at Granada Sky Broadcasting, where he held the position of managing director until it was taken over by ITV in 2005. Showtime a key player in the Middle East, competes against fellow direct-to-home platforms, Orbit and ART.
