Streambox Inc., a supplier of real time video transport for broadcasting, satellite and cable announced it has partnered with Inmarsat to facilitate the transmission and delivery of low latency, real time broadcast video to users of Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) service at data rates from 64 kbps to 256 kbps. This service offers users a plug-and-play transmit video transport in regions with poor or nonexistent telecom networks.
