Philippines broadcaster GMA7 will take a flyaway from Advent Communications up Mount Everest to cover the first Philippines Mount Everest Expedition.

GMA is purchasing a Mantis 190 antenna for C-band transmission of the event in May. The satellite connection will remain at the base camp of Mount Everest where the team from GMA will be covering the event.
