Globecomm Systems Inc., a global provider of end-to-end satellite-based communications solutions, announced that it has been selected by ImaginAsian TV (iaTV), an Asian-American television network, to provide complete satellite distribution and hosting services.

iaTV programming will be sent via Globecomm’s teleport to Intelsat’s satellite IA-13.

The iaTV channel caters to American audiences with a passion for “all things Asian,” bringing dramas, anime, variety shows, and movies from Asia to the United States.

From its transmission broadcast center in eastern Long Island, New York, Globecomm will provide control services and provide playout of the multi-language cable programmer.
