Panamsat and On Call Communications announced April 18 the development of a new satellite-based communications solution. The combination of Panamsat’s Quickspot on-demand satellite technology and On Call’s Onspot auto-deploying broadband satellite communications systems is designed to enable the coverage of breaking news and live events by broadcasters.
