Satlynx S.A. extended its geographical coverage beyond Europe with the introduction of a new service platform, the company announced.

The Satlynx 9000, along with space segment capacity from RSCC, will allow Satlynx to offer a range of technologies across the whole of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. This new platform offers two-way satellite service from two satellites with a choice of contended or dedicated bandwidth.

Services speeds range from 512 kilobits per second downlink and 128 kbps uplink to 2 megabits per seconds uplink and 1 Mbps downlink.
