C-Com Satellite Systems Inc. entered into an agreement that allows the marketing of its mobile communications services to the U.S. Department of Defense, C-Com announced.

Under a memorandum of understanding, an unnamed U.S.-based satellite communications and systems provider will become a reseller of C-Com’s Inetvu Mobile platforms to the Pentagon and other U.S. Government agencies. The two companies also will jointly develop products.

The agreement is not binding, but the two parties intend to executive a definitive agreement no later than June 15, C-Com said.
