Trimble has acquired the intellectual property assets of a company that produces software used to enhance the accuracy of GPS signals, Trimble announced.

Trimble plans to use the assets of XYZs of GPS Inc. of Dickerson, Md., to extend its product portfolio. Benjamin Remondi, president and CEO of XYZs, will join Trimble.

Financial terms of the cash transaction were not disclosed.
