German pay-TV operator Premiere ended 2005 with nearly 3.6 million subscribers, up nearly 10 percent compared to the 3.3 million subscribers reported at the end of 2004.

The operator also posted a 9 percent increase in revenues to 1.1 billion euros ($1.3 billion), driven primarily by a strong fourth quarter performance.

Premiere CEO Georg Kofler said the results were “very satisfactory.”
