Following Monday’s news of International Launch Services being selected to launch JSAT’s JCSAT-11 satellite on a Proton vehicle in 2007, ILS announced two more contracts at the SATELLITE 2006 Conference & Exhibition in Washington, D.C., this week. In the first contract, ILS has been selected by Telesat to launch the Canadian company’s Nimiq 4 satellite in 2008. The deal marks Telesat’s fifth flight with ILS.
