Globecomm Systems Inc., announced Jan. 23 that the company has been awarded multiple satellite infrastructure contracts from an unnamed U.S. government customer valued at about $1.4 million.

“The U.S. government has a broad range of requirements for satellite infrastructure and services,” David Hershberg, CEO and chairman of Globecomm Systems Inc., said in a statement. “Over the past three years, Globecomm has worked diligently to identify opportunities in this vast marketplace where the company can demonstrate the quality of satellite engineering expertise it possesses. We are gaining traction one customer at a time.”
