NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr. will host a weekly show on XM Satellite Radio beginning Feb. 13, XM announced. The show will cover the NASCAR circuit, as well as other interests. Earnhardt also will be involved in XM promotions under the multiyear agreement.

XM is the official satellite radio network of NASCAR under a contract that runs through the 2006 season. Rival Sirius Satellite Radio captured the broadcast rights for NASCAR starting with the 2007 season, agreeing in February to pay NASCAR $107.5 million for the broadcast rights for five years.
