Lotus Cars USA and Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. have added XM Satellite Radio as factory-installed equipment, the companies announced.

Lotus will provide XM in its 2006 Lotus Elise sports car as part of its Premium Pack option. The option, priced at $695, includes a factory-installed Alpine AM/FM/XM unit and three months of XM service.

Toyota will include XM as standard equipment on its 2006 Scion xB Release Series 3.0, as well as three months of service and no activation fee.

XM signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Toyota in 2004 and now is available on 15 Scion, Lexus and Toyota models as an option.
