Spacehab Inc. subsidiary Astrotech received a contract from International Launch Services (ILS) to provide payload processing for the Astra 1KR satellite, Spacehab announced.

The spacecraft, owned by SES Astra, initially was set for launch aboard an Ariane 5 rocket but was moved to a Russian Proton before being switched again to a Lockheed Martin Atlas 5. ILS markets launches aboard both the Atlas 5 and Proton vehicles.

Astra 1KR is set for launch in April from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.
