Ukraine direct-to-home satellite television operator Poverkhnost added three new high-definition channels produced by Euro1080 to its platform. Euro1080 is delivering its HD1, HD2 and HD5 channels to Poverkhnost’s studios in Kiev where they will be uplinked to Eutelsat‘s W4 satellite, which enables direct reception of television channels in the Ukraine and surrounding countries, including Russia, Moldavia, Belarus and the Baltic states. The three channels offer a wide range of content, including sports, music and cultural events.
Poverkhnost launched pay-TV services in the Ukraine in November.
