Eutelsat signed a deal with Morocco’s national public broadcaster, Société Nationale de Radio et de Télévision Marocaine (SNRT), to broadcast six television channels and four radio stations using Eutelsat’s Hot Bird 4 satellite. The new multiplex, which marks the transition of Morocco’s leading national channels to digital format, is part of the reform of Morocco’s broadcasting landscape initiated by the Ministry of Communications.
