CBS Alaska Affiliate To Use Norsat Newslink

Norsat International Inc. said Nov. 28 that Alaska-based CBS affiliate KTVA Anchorage has purchased Norsat Newslink for its news gathering operations. Newslink enables broadcast-quality video in a portable satellite terminal and supports MPEG-2/DVB-S encoding. Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
