XM Canada Nov. 22 became the first satellite radio service to officially launch service in Canada. The company said the more than 4,500 customers who pre-registered for XM Canada service will be the first to be able to purchase XM radios online and begin subscribing to the satellite radio service. The first 1,000 customers will be able to order the Delphi RoadyXT for Cdn. $79.99 ($68.15), a savings of 35 percent off the manufacturers suggested retail price. Satellite radio receivers will be available at retail outlets across the country beginning the week of Nov. 28.
