Telenor Satellite Services said it is offering reduced calling rates for sailors at sea this holiday season. In conjunction with Inmarsat, Telenor is extending low-cost Super Quiet Time hours around the clock beginning Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. GMT through 6 a.m. GMT Jan. 2. The Super Quiet Time program features prices of less than $1 per minute for prepaid voice calls over maritime Inmarsat-B, -M, Mini-M and all Fleet services.
