Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced Nov. 17 that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., received an order valued at more than $1 million from satellite operator Chinasat Communications Group for Comtech EF Data’s CDM-600 Satellite Modem. Chinasat will deploy the modems in a GSM network to support telephony services in rural areas throughout the region.
