Andrew Corp. announced Nov. 14 it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Skyware Radio Systems GmbH of Krefeld, Germany, a producer of electronic products for broadband satellite communications networks.
The addition of Skyware’s transceiver modules to Andrew’s antenna product lines will allow Andrew to produce a comprehensive range of integrated outdoor unit antennas for satellite broadband access, Andrew said.
Andrew will pay $9 million in cash, plus additional cash considerations if Skyware achieves certain financial performance goals throughout the next two years.
